My day with Michael and Sckilar began at the Wild Rose Casino with the bride and her two besties as they prepped for Sckilar's most important day in Clinton, Iowa. They did hair, makeup, and got dressed upstairs in the hotel room. We later met her parents downstairs for Sckilar's finishing touches.
Next, I headed over to Eagle Point Park where the ceremony would be held, and met up with Michael and his family. Everyone gathered around the Castle and the ribbon lined isle outside of it, patiently waiting for the bride's arrival.
It was the perfect May day when it came time for Michael and Sckilar to say "I Do". The sun shone high in the sky illuminating the blue sea above us with its fluffy white clouds.
Guests and the bridal party took their places as Sckilar pulled up to the castle. She followed the flower petal trail in her ball gown dress. The ceremony was light hearted and personal, full of laughs and happy tears.
After the ceremony, Sckilar, Michael and I headed into the park for a few portraits.
Next, we headed back to the Wild Rose, where the reception took place. The meal was delicious; the music kept the vibes high and dance floor full thanks to Pyramids Dj Service.
The Wood's big day was a fairytale come true in Clinton, Iowa!
